ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Mark Brent Isaac, and I come from Mongolbongol, Daram, Samar, Philippines. I am an only child, and I was raised in a humble family that faces many financial and health-related challenges. Despite these difficulties, I remain determined to continue my education and work toward a brighter future.
My mother is a daycare worker, earning only ₱1,000 per month, which is not enough to cover our family's daily expenses, including food, school needs, and other basic necessities. My father works as a fisherman, spending long hours at sea in the hope of catching enough fish to sell and provide for our family. However, there are many days when the catch is very small, making it difficult to meet our daily needs.
In addition to our financial struggles, my family also faces health challenges. My mother and I both suffer from ulcers, while my father has a lung condition that affects his ability to work. These circumstances have made life even more difficult for our family.
I joined the Seeds of Mercy Outreach International Scholarship Program because I believe that education is my best opportunity to build a better future. I hope to receive support that will help me continue my studies, provide for my daily school expenses, purchase food, clean drinking water, and obtain the medicines my family and I need.
Despite the challenges we face, I choose to remain hopeful and trust in God. I am committed to studying hard, making the most of every opportunity, and one day achieving my dreams so that I can support my parents and give back to my community. I am deeply grateful to everyone who believes in my potential and chooses to invest in my future. Your kindness gives me hope and encourages me to keep moving forward with faith and determination.
