Bringing Hope and Nourishment to Children in Mongolbongol Daram, Samar Philippines

We are grateful to share an encouraging update from our partner, House of the Lord Church Mongolbongol, as they faithfully carried out one of our core programs—addressing hunger and malnutrition among children in the community of Mongolbongol, Daram Samar, Philippines.

This outreach was conducted in support of our mission to serve vulnerable communities by providing nourishment, care, and hope. We are truly blessed to witness the joy on the children’s faces as they received food and experienced a moment of happiness and fullness.

Many families in this community rely on farming and fishing as their primary source of livelihood. However, during times of bad weather or natural challenges, their ability to earn and provide sufficient food becomes very limited. As a result, many children face hunger and lack proper nutrition.

Through this program, we are reminded of the importance of extending compassion and practical support to those in need. It is our prayer and hope that in the coming days, we will be able to reach more communities and provide even greater blessings, helping families overcome these challenges little by little.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” – Matthew 25:35

To God be all the glory.
